Spin the Wheel
A free random picker wheel. Add names, prizes or ideas, give it a spin and let chance decide. Perfect for classrooms, giveaways and “where should we eat?” moments.
النسخة العربية ↗How to use the wheel
- Type your entries in the box, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin in the middle of the wheel or the button below it.
- The winner appears under the wheel. Tick Remove the winner if you want each name picked only once, which is great for turn-taking and draws.
Is it really random?
Yes. The final position of the wheel is chosen with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator (the same one used for security keys), not a predictable pattern. Each entry has an equal chance, and the animation is only there to make it fun to watch.
Your list is saved in your own browser, so it is still there next time you open the page. Nothing is uploaded.
Ideas for using a random wheel
- Teachers: pick a student to answer, choose groups or decide the order of presentations.
- Giveaways: draw a winner live on stream or in a meeting so everyone can see it is fair.
- Families: settle who chooses the film, which restaurant to try or who does the dishes.
- Teams: choose who leads stand-up, or pick a random topic for a quick brainstorm.
Frequently asked questions
How many entries can I add?
Up to 200. The text gets smaller as you add more so every slice stays readable.
Can I remove a name after it is picked?
Yes. Tick “Remove the winner after each spin” and each winner is taken off the list automatically.
Is the wheel fair?
Every slice is the same size and the result uses cryptographically secure randomness, so each entry has an equal chance.
Can I use Arabic names?
Absolutely. The wheel supports Arabic and any other language.
Will my list be saved?
It is saved only in your browser on this device, so it is there when you come back. Use Clear to remove it.
