The short version

Our tools run in your browser. The numbers, dates and text you enter into a calculator are processed on your own device and are not sent to us. We do not require an account and we do not sell personal data.

Information we do not collect

When you use a tool on Pickonic, the values you type (for example your salary, date of birth, weight or text) stay on your device. We cannot see them and we do not store them on our servers.

Information stored on your device

A few tools remember your last input using your browser’s local storage so it is still there after a refresh, for example the text in the word counter and the entries on the wheel. This data never leaves your device, and you can remove it with the tool’s Clear button or by clearing your browser data.

Information you send us

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to improve the site, and we keep them only as long as needed for that purpose.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs help keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited time.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use analytics to understand which pages are useful, and we may show ads to keep the tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Children

Pickonic is a general audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices and rights

You can use every tool without giving us any personal information. If you have contacted us and want your message deleted, or want to know what we hold about you, send us a request through the contact page.

We may update this policy as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
